|
The article deals with the unexplained phenomenon of ball lightning. As the luminous objects do not always originate from thunderstorm atmosphere, we distinguish direct and indirect ball lightning. The observations and research of the ball lightning offer many hypotheses of its qualitative explanation, but a hypothesis leading to quantitative theoretical framework has not been proposed.
