Summary:
The article deals with the construction of reciprocals of real numbers using unit conic sections. The demonstrated methods are then used to determine the value of the so-called Pythagorean means. Finally, a few remarks are made about the Pythagorean means and the way they were calculated by Greek mathematicians.
